Our Vision:
EPVOC is a community that pursues living by God's commandment to love Him, love one another & fulfill the great commission by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We engage in these pursuit by offering the living hope of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, scripture based teaching & practial supports. We believe that faith without works is dead, & so, we desire to fill both the hungry souls & hungry bodies, of Forest Lawn.
To honor the vulnerability and unique circumstances of those that partake in EPVOC's weekly resources, its manditory that all those looking to volunteer here, take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of those we serve.
Please begin by reaching out to Priscilla, our volunteer co-ordinator, to request a personalized volunteer letter to take with you to the police station, to reduce the price of the criminal record check (approx. $25 each).
Once that is recieved, you can go into the station closest to you, to have your checks done. If you choose to apply for a crim check through the police's online portal (link below), you may be unable to use the volunteer letter, which can cause the price to increase to $75. All criminal record checks are done at the personal cost of those looking to volunteer.
