God:
We believe there is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, & God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible & invisible, & is therefore worthy of all glory & praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, & mercy. He is unchangeable & therefore is the same yesterday, today, & tomorrow.
Jesus:
We believe In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension unto God, and imminent return in power and glory.
The Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired & complete revelation of God’s will concerning man's salvation, accomplished through the grace of Jesus.
Baptism:
We believe that full submersion water baptism is a public declaration that a believer, regardless of their age, has repented for their sin, confessed Jesus as Lord & is choosing to die with Christ & be risen with Him to live a new life of holiness & love.
Salvation:
We believe that all of mankind is born into iniquity & has fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God, by living a sinless life & willingly dieing on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised Him from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit & now, by grace, offers a free gift of eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord & Saviour. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone. That people are saved solely through faith in God’s grace as displayed in the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the trinity. He is a gift given to repentant believers of Jesus Christ, to fulfill the will of God on the earth. The Holy Spirit is the promised helper, sent by Jesus, revealing to us all truth, equipping us to operate in the spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church body & to be Christs witnesses on the earth.
The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God & proclaim the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in the unity of all repentant believers as members of the universal body of Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
Communion
We believe that communion should be taken often, in remembrance of the last supper, where Jesus established His New Covenant with mankind. "When He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to [the disciples], saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood." Luke 22:18-20
Jesus' Return
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to gather all His saints unto Himself. Those who have not, by free will choice, accepted Christs redemptive work on their behalf, will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead, as consequence of unreprentant sin.
Jesus will Reign
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living & the dead & to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. We believe that following His return, Jesus Christ will rule & reign for one thousand years on the earth. After this, there will be a new heaven & a new earth established.
